Packing in Style: how to fit your liquids for carry-on travel

I remember when traveling meant that you could wait for your loved one directly at the gate. And there were no liquid limits on board. Gone are those days. It’s all about being efficient, slip on (and off) shoes through security and making sure that all your liquids (soaps, perfumes, make up) are under 3 ounces each and fit into one bag. Lucky for me, it’s much easier with the help of one of our silk cosmetic bags. Roomy enough for a bottle of body soap but slim enough to toss in my carry on, it’s my go-to tool for short or long trips.

Here’s what I got in there:

  • a pack of tissues
  • my allergy pills (why I need the tissues)
  • a tube of travel size toothpaste
  • must-have tube of Burt’s Bees hand cream
  • mini jar of face cream
  • L’Occitane body soap. (Tip: I put everything in a plastic baggie first so I can toss it on the conveyor when I get to security).

Handy, right? You can get yours starting May 10th!
